YoolinkPro Update: Statistics and “Like”


Over the years we fought to show that E2.0 was not about endless lists of features, but rather about adoption. With our latest Yoolinkpro release, we empower admins by giving them even more statistics about the teams and groups they created.

Yoolink will attend Salon Intranet 2011 March the 8th-10th


As we did last year, we will attend and speak at the Salon intranet. This fair is the yearly meeting for innovation in KM and intranets. On top of exhibiting new services, professionals will present several use cases and case studies during 10 conferences and 24 workshops.

It is official, you only have 4  3 2 1 0 days left to wish everyone you know an awesome year 2011. But before we all rush into the new year and totally forget the last one, let’s have a last thought for our beloved 2010. During 2010 our community found amazing things. We thought we had to show one last time what we liked the most. It has not been easy to pick and trust me when I say that the vote has been epic. People standing on tables screaming at each other to cheerlead for their pet-content. That was messy. Güven is even still limping a bit. But here is our selection and we hope you like it!

Mondadori chooses YoolinkPro as its Corporate Social Network!


Social media is a vast subject and it is not always easy to find the right approach and software for your company. Well, we are glad to announce that an increasing number of companies find social media a little easier thanks to YoolinkPro!

We are proud to announce that after Springbird and Lagardere Publicite – two leading French media companies – Mondadori France chose to jump into the 2.0 era with YoolinkPro. Mondadori is the third biggest European content publisher. The project is led by the marketing director of the advertising agency and aims at making it easier for employees to work in team and to strengthen the corporate culture.

It’s been a while since we posted something on our blog. Usually it is a bad sign. Not this time! We worked hard in 2010, so hard we could not even write on the blog! We are now proud to announce a new version and many new exciting customers and loads of exciting new projects for 2011. But more on that later.

Once upon a time, YoolinkPro was about social bookmarking. Now it is much much more. It fosters collaboration, makes communication easier. As the CEO of Lagardere Publicite said, YoolinkPro helps employees to feel part of their company. 2011 is definitely going to be on the same trend, trying to bring social software to more and more companies to help them being better at what they do.

In the meantime, All the YoolinkPro team wishes you all the best for 2011. Success, achievement and of course, Fun, both at work and at home.

YoolinkPro Update: tag and index discussions


Groups play a growing role in companies. They offer cross-company spaces where people can ask questions or share knowledge. In the upcoming weeks we plan to boost dramatically the way groups work: how users can access them and post content in them. As a first step toward this, we upgraded the micro-blogging feature so you can tag messages easily.. Just like with regular tagging, tagging a message will make it visible in the relevant groups the user chose. It is a fast and easy way to control who sees what and who should participate in the debate.

YoolinkPro Update: create and edit writeboards


There are lots of information and knowledge that can be shared with a link or an uploaded document. Yet for agile information we thought users needed something more. So we upgraded YoolinkPro with a writeboard feature.

Each user can create a writeboard from his/her action bar. A Writeboard is a sort of simplified wiki where users can write content using a word-like interface. Each time a user modify the document, a separate version is created so users keep a history of what’s going on. As any other kind of information on YoolinkPro, users can save, tag, describe and share writeboards.
