What does YoolinkPro do?

YoolinkPro is your social information network. With YoolinkPro you can select and share content, keep up-to-date with your industry and communicate with your colleagues.

As users select and share content, they build a unique Knowledge Base for your company. They also know what is happening in their company through their company's news feed.

What is a selection?

A Selection is an on-line document - article, video, etc. - on which you spent more than three seconds. You can select document because it interested you, because it might interest someone in your company or because you want to be able to find it later.

Can I make private selections?

YoolinkPro is a service that makes it easy to share information. So there is no possibility to make private selections. Everyone is going to see your selection in the Company's News Feed. Yet you can emphasize a specific selection by suggesting it to someone.

What is a suggestion?

A Suggestion is an on-line document - article, video, etc. - you shared with your colleagues, because you know it is going to interest them. Your own Suggestions' list is a list of content that has been selected FOR YOU by the people you know.

What is "Read Later"?

You often find articles you are interested in, but you have no time to read? Mark them as "Read Later", and you will be reminded to read them when you have some time.

What is the point in tagging articles?

A Tag is a keyword that gives information about the documents you selected. It allows you and other users to find this content when you need it. If you systematically use 3 to 4 tags on each webpage, you are sure to find it later no matter how large your knowledge base is.

How do I share content with my colleagues?

There are many ways to send a document with YoolinkPro. The best one is to install the Browser's Plug-In.

The YoolinkPro Plug-in allows you to select and share content in one click as you surf the Internet or your Intranet. It looks like a small button that will slot directly into your browser - no matter which one you are using. You can find the Plug-In in the upper-right part of your YoolinkPro Home Page. You can also share content with the toolbar next to every selected webpage.

How do I access what my colleagues selected or suggested me?

You can see everything that has been selected by your team or your colleagues on your YoolinkPro Home Page.

You can also get it as an RSS Feed in your favourite RSS Reader. RSS is a standard format that can be used to export data on your favourite service or device.

You can find your Company's News Feed RSS in the upper-right part of your YoolinkPro Home Page.

How do I change my password or customize my profile?

You can edit your profile, change your password or upload a picture in the "Edit your profile" menu in the header of your screen.
